Plans

Basic (Free)

The Basic tier is free and requires no credit card. It includes:

• Unlimited company search and browsing
• 3 free fact lookups per day for TOPIX-99 companies (MCP)
• Unlimited document (PDF) access
• 5 AI questions per month
• Portfolio tracking
• 3 AI Chat sessions per month, 5 messages per session

Investor

¥1,980/month (tax included).

Everything in Basic, plus:

• 30 AI Chat sessions per month, 50 messages per session
• Priority access to new features
• Full MCP tool access: all 16 tools at 500 requests per day (see MCP Overview)

MCP Developer

MCP Developer is available for purchase. It costs ¥4,980/month, includes the Investor plan in the web app, and raises the MCP request quota from 500 to 1,000 requests per day.

The Investor plan includes the MCP INVESTOR tier (500 requests per day, all 16 tools). Developer is the separate MCP plan for higher volume (1,000 requests per day).

Tool access is identical between Investor and Developer — both reach all 16 MCP tools. Developer only raises the daily quota; there is no tool exclusive to Developer. Most users do not need Developer unless they expect to exceed 500 MCP requests per day.

An MCP API key itself does not require any paid plan — every account can generate one on the BASIC MCP tier (50 requests per day; 6 free tools and 3 free fact lookups per day for TOPIX-99 companies). See Authentication for how to generate a key without upgrading.

How to upgrade

Upgrade to Investor

1. Go to the Account page (click your profile icon in the navigation)
2. Click Upgrade to Investor
3. You will be redirected to the Stripe checkout page
4. Enter your payment details and confirm

Your plan upgrades immediately after payment is confirmed.

Upgrade to MCP Developer

1. Go to the Account page
2. In the API Access section, click Upgrade
3. You will be redirected to the Stripe checkout page
4. Enter your payment details and confirm

This also grants Investor-level app access if you were on Basic.

Managing your subscription

To view invoices, update payment methods, or cancel:

1. Go to the Account page
2. Click Manage Subscription
3. You will be redirected to the Stripe billing portal

All billing management (invoice history, card updates, cancellation) is handled through the Stripe portal.

How to cancel

1. Go to the Account page
2. Click Manage Subscription
3. In the Stripe portal, select Cancel subscription

Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account returns to the Basic tier.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Kabuken does not store card details.
