MCP Overview
What is MCP?
Section titled “What is MCP?”MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external data sources and tools. When Kabuken is connected to your AI assistant via MCP, the AI can directly search companies, retrieve financial statements, and analyze EDINET filings — without you manually copying data.
Think of it as giving your AI assistant direct access to Kabuken’s database of Japanese companies and their financial data.
What you can do with Kabuken MCP
Section titled “What you can do with Kabuken MCP”Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant questions like:
- “Search for Toyota and show me its latest annual revenue”
- “What are the main business segments for Sony?”
- “Show me the balance sheet for Softbank from their most recent filing”
- “How does operating profit break down for Recruit Holdings?”
The AI uses Kabuken’s tools behind the scenes to fetch the data and present it in your conversation.
