About the Data
What is EDINET?
Section titled “What is EDINET?”EDINET (Electronic Disclosure for Investors’ NETwork) is the statutory disclosure system operated by Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA). Companies listed on Japanese stock exchanges file their statutory disclosures — including annual securities reports (有価証券報告書) and semi-annual reports (半期報告書) — to EDINET in XBRL format.
How Kabuken uses it
Section titled “How Kabuken uses it”Kabuken extracts financial facts from these XBRL filings and structures them with English and Japanese labels (label completeness varies by filing), calculation relationships showing how totals roll up from their components, and segment-level breakdowns — all traceable back to the filing they came from.

The financial data, analysis, and metrics displayed on Kabuken are edited and processed by Kabuken from EDINET filings; they are not the Financial Services Agency’s original, unprocessed data, and Kabuken is responsible for any errors introduced during processing.
