The Company Detail page presents financial data extracted from official EDINET filings. It is organized into four tabs.

TabContent
OverviewKey financial metrics, company description, industry, identifiers
FinancialsFull financial statements, charts, dimension breakdowns, CSV export
AI AnalysisAI-generated summary and question-answering
DocumentsList of filings with PDF download links

The Overview tab shows a snapshot of key metrics for the most recent filing, including revenue, operating profit, net income, and total assets. Company metadata (industry, EDINET code, ticker) is shown here.

Financial data is grouped by statement type:

StatementDescription
Balance Sheet (BS)Assets, liabilities, and equity at a point in time
Income Statement (PL)Revenue and profit over a reporting period
Cash Flow (CF)Cash generated and used during the period

Each statement lists financial line items with their values and bilingual labels (Japanese and English).

Below each statement, Kabuken shows how totals roll up from their components. For example, you can see exactly which sub-items sum to Operating Profit. This is derived from the XBRL calculation linkbase embedded in the filing.

Some companies report segment-level data (e.g., revenue by business unit or geography). When available, these breakdowns appear in the Segments section with bilingual labels for each dimension.

The Financials tab includes charts for key metrics over time:

  • Toggle between annual and quarterly data
  • Charts use a dual Y-axis where values differ significantly in scale
  • Hover over data points to see exact values

For income statement data, a Waterfall Chart visualizes how revenue flows down to net income through each component (cost of goods sold, operating expenses, taxes, etc.). This makes it easy to see where value is added or consumed across the income statement.

The Fact Diff feature lets you compare financial line items between two filings side by side. Select a base filing and a comparison filing using the document selector, then switch to the Diff view to see which values increased, decreased, or are new. Changes are color-coded: increases in green, decreases in red, and unchanged values in neutral.

If a company has multiple filings, use the Document dropdown near the top of the page to switch between them (e.g., compare last year’s annual report to the current one).

Click the Export CSV button to download the currently displayed financial data as a comma-separated values file. The export includes all visible line items with their English labels and values.

The Documents tab lists all available EDINET filings for the company. Each row shows the filing date, report type (annual, quarterly, amendment), and a link to download the PDF.
